Projects and collaboration

Send and receive projects with samples and ZIP files

Wolflow lets you send a project to another user and prepare a local ZIP. The package gathers the project and media identified by the engine; still check dependencies before sending and opening after receipt.

Prepare the session for its recipient

Agree on DAW, version and required plugins. Save the project, collect essential media in its original application and include a reference bounce. If the recipient uses another DAW, convert or prepare stems before delivery. Sending the package does not automatically convert the project into the collaborator’s application or transfer plugin licenses.

What the package includes

The engine distinguishes dedicated folders from folders holding several projects. In the latter case it gathers the selected project’s files and referenced media rather than sending the whole archive. Regenerable caches, autosaves and some temporary folders are excluded. A transfer is therefore an operational handoff rather than a complete historical backup of every version.

Send to a Wolflow user

  1. Connect your account and check the transfer quota if you use Free.
  2. Open Send Project from project controls, search for the user and verify the selected recipient.
  3. Confirm sending and follow preparation, compression and upload in the progress bar.
  4. Read the final outcome; after cancellation, check state before starting another transfer.

Size, temporary space and local ZIP

The analyzed desktop service applies a 5 GB source-payload limit and checks temporary storage. Compression does not automatically qualify an oversized package. Reduce it by collecting only required assets in the original application; do not delete samples blindly. Use Download ZIP or Show ZIP where available to inspect or hand over the package locally.

Accept, download and verify

An incoming-project notification lets you accept or reject. After accepting, choose a save location and start Download Project. Open the received folder, check media and load the session in its DAW or editor. Accepted does not mean downloaded, and downloaded does not mean verified; listen or inspect the timeline before confirming successful delivery.

If sending or downloading fails

Check connection, account, quota, source path and free space, including temporary storage. If a drive disconnects during preparation, restore access before retrying. For receipt, check the destination folder and service message. For offline media, inspect dependencies in the original project; reuploading the same incomplete archive does not add them.

Frequently asked questions

Does sending a project include every backup?

No. Delivery packages exclude some copies and caches. Use a verified backup plan to preserve versions and media over time.

Does the recipient need the same plugins?

That may be necessary to reproduce editable parts. Agree on versions and formats; if a plugin is unavailable, prepare rendered reference audio or stems.

Try it with your next project

Wolflow is a desktop app for Windows and macOS. Free conversions and backups require a connected account to verify the 7-day quota; Disk Management is a PRO feature. Check the plans for availability.
